Russia hits four Ukrainian cities overnight, three killed in Dnipro

Russian forces carried out a wide-ranging missile and drone assault on several Ukrainian cities overnight into September 22, striking the capital Kyiv along with Dnipro, Kryvyi Rih, and Pavlohrad in the Dnipropetrovsk region.

Damage in Kyiv and Dnipro

Ukraine's State Emergency Service reported that a five-story residential building in Kyiv's Dniprovskyi district was partially destroyed, leaving four people injured.

The most severe consequences were recorded in Dnipro, where warehouses and another facility were destroyed. Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the regional administration, said three people were killed and six injured. Rescue crews are continuing to search for another person who may be trapped under the rubble of the destroyed facility.

Strikes also hit Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad

Russian forces additionally targeted industrial facilities in Kryvyi Rih and Pavlohrad. As of publication, no casualties had been reported in either city.

According to Ukraine's Air Force Command, Russian forces launched more than 200 drones, including decoys, along with several dozen missiles at targets across the country in total.
