Russian forces struck a data center in Kyiv twice on the morning of September 27, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said. The first strike injured three people, including two children.
According to the president, over the past week Russia used more than 2,200 attack drones, roughly 1,650 aerial bombs, and 38 missiles of various types against Ukraine, a significant share of them ballistic.
Attacks across multiple regions
Overnight into September 27, residential buildings, energy facilities, and other civilian infrastructure came under attack in the Odesa, Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolaiv, Kherson, Poltava, Zhytomyr, and Kyiv regions. Three people were killed in shelling in the Zaporizhzhia region, while a man was killed in Kyiv after a drone strike.
Earlier, a man died in Kyiv's Solomianskyi district during an overnight Russian drone attack, which also sparked fires in two non-residential buildings.
Appeal to G20 nations
Zelensky called on China, India, Brazil, South Africa, and other G20 and Global South countries to use their influence on Russia to help end the war.
