Russia loses 1,310 soldiers over past day
Russian military losses in Ukraine over the last day amounted to 1,310 troops, bringing the total since the start of the war to over 1.4 million.

According to information published by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the Russian army has lost 1,310 soldiers (killed and wounded) over the past day. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion on 24 February 2022 to 9 July 2026, total Russian personnel losses have reached 1,414,820.
In addition to manpower, Russia has also suffered significant equipment losses: 7 tanks, 3 armoured combat vehicles, 59 artillery systems, 4 multiple-launch rocket systems, 1 air defence system, 1 fixed-wing aircraft, 4 ground robotic systems, 1,843 operational-tactical UAVs, 363 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4 units of special equipment.
The General Staff notes that the information is being confirmed.
