Russia loses 1,460 soldiers over past day
The General Staff of Ukraine reports that Russia's total combat losses have reached approximately 1,434,690 personnel, with 1,460 added in the last 24 hours.
According to the latest update from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Russia suffered 1,460 casualties (killed and wounded) over the past day, pushing the total estimated losses since February 24, 2022, to about 1,434,690 military personnel as of July 23, 2026.
In addition to personnel losses, Ukraine's military reports the destruction of 12,191 tanks (+28), 24,994 armored combat vehicles (+12), 46,570 artillery systems (+78), 1,961 multiple-launch rocket systems (+3), 1,515 air defense systems (+2), 438 fixed-wing aircraft, 354 helicopters, 1,994 ground robotic systems (+13), 423,588 operational-tactical UAVs (+1,688), 4,936 cruise missiles (+3), 34 ships and boats, 2 submarines, 124,243 vehicles and fuel tankers (+541), and 4,453 special vehicles and other equipment (+3).
