Russian occupying forces launched a drone strike on the Osnovianskyi district of Kharkiv, causing a fire to break out in a warehouse building, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov reported on social media.
According to the mayor, information about the consequences of the strike was still being gathered at the time of the report, and no data on casualties had been received so far.
Previous attack on Chernihiv
The strike on Kharkiv followed another Russian attack the previous evening, on August 25, when occupying forces once again targeted the city of Chernihiv. That attack injured two adults and one child.
Taken together, the two incidents point to continued Russian strikes on populated areas of Ukraine over recent days.
