Russia launches 108 drones at Ukraine, hits recorded in 11 locations
Overnight on September 6, Russia attacked Ukraine with 108 drones of various types, most of which were shot down or suppressed. Strikes were recorded in 11 locations, with debris falling in seven more.
Overnight on September 6, Russia attacked Ukraine with 108 unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, according to Ukraine's Air Force.
The attack involved Shahed-type drones, including jet-powered variants, as well as Gerbera drones, decoy drones and S8000 Bandeoľ devices.
More than three-quarters of drones intercepted
As of 9:30 a.m., Ukrainian air defence had shot down or electronically suppressed 82 of the drones, including six S8000 Bandeoľ units.
Despite this, some drones reached their targets: strikes were confirmed in 11 separate locations, while debris from downed or damaged drones fell in seven additional locations.
At the time the report was issued, the attack was still ongoing, meaning the final count of affected locations could still change.
