Russia loses 1,260 soldiers over past day
Ukraine's General Staff reports that Russian forces suffered 1,260 casualties in the last 24 hours, bringing the total personnel losses since the war began to over 1.39 million.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has released updated figures on Russian military losses. Over the past day, ending June 24, Russia lost 1,260 soldiers killed and wounded. Cumulative personnel losses since February 24, 2022, now stand at 1,395,790.
Equipment Losses
In addition to personnel, Russia lost significant military equipment: 6 tanks, 4 armored combat vehicles, 60 artillery systems, 2 multiple-launch rocket systems, 3 air defense systems, 7 ground robotic systems, 1,873 operational-tactical UAVs, 430 vehicles and fuel tankers, and 4 units of special equipment. Cumulative equipment losses since the start of the war include: 12,056 tanks, 24,816 armored vehicles, 44,664 artillery systems, 1,889 MLRS, 1,440 air defense systems, 436 fixed-wing aircraft, 353 helicopters, 1,726 ground robotic systems, 369,888 UAVs, 4,787 cruise missiles, 33 ships/boats, 2 submarines, 111,257 vehicles, and 4,333 special vehicles.
