The report was corroborated by several sources, including the Russian outlet Meduza, the Telegram channels Astra and Baza, and the Ukrainian monitoring channel Supernova+.
Supernova+ published several eyewitness videos. One of them appears to show a building on the beach, likely a café, on fire.
Russian media reported that the attack forced the interruption of a performance by singer Tatyana Bulanova, which was taking place at the "Festivalny" concert hall.
No further details about casualties or the scale of the damage have been reported so far.
