Russia reports new drone attack damages two tankers in Taganrog Bay
Rostov Oblast governor confirms a second drone attack in Taganrog Bay within days, damaging two tankers and causing fires.

Rostov Oblast Governor Yuri Slyusar has reported that drones attacked two tankers in the Taganrog Bay again, causing mechanical damage to both vessels. No casualties were reported, and the crews have been evacuated. The strikes sparked fires; one has been extinguished, while the other is still being put out.
Slyusar also claimed that Russian air defense systems shot down more than 20 drones over Rostov Oblast overnight.
On July 8, Slyusar said that two tankers bound for Rostov-on-Don had been damaged in a drone attack in Taganrog Bay. Earlier, on the night of July 6-7, Ukraine's Unmanned Systems Forces struck eight tankers belonging to Russia's shadow fleet in the Sea of Azov.
