Ukraine's forces report 1,660 Russian troop losses and over 600 pieces of equipment in a day

Ukraine's Armed Forces General Staff has released updated figures on Russian military losses in the war against Ukraine. According to the report, 1,660 Russian occupying troops were killed or wounded over the past 24 hours, raising total personnel losses since the start of the full-scale invasion on February 24, 2022 to approximately 1,519,650 soldiers.

Equipment losses

Alongside personnel losses, the General Staff also reported significant equipment losses over the past day. Five tanks were destroyed or damaged, bringing the total to 12,361 units, along with four armored combat vehicles, bringing that total to 25,365 units. Artillery system losses grew by 75, reaching 50,142 units, while losses of multiple rocket launcher systems increased by 3, reaching 2,149 units.

The report also noted the destruction of 3 air defense systems, bringing the total to 1,662 units, and 17 ground robotic systems, bringing that total to 2,712 units.

Drones and other equipment

The most notable increase was in operational-tactical level drones — 1,728 were destroyed over the past day, bringing the total to 527,693 units. Additionally, 516 vehicles and fuel tankers were lost, bringing that total to 151,861 units, along with 13 units of special equipment, bringing that total to 4,729 units.

Ukraine's General Staff emphasizes that the figures are being verified and may be updated.
