A Russian drone struck a two-story building in Kyiv's Obolon district on the evening of September 25, which, according to preliminary information, houses a preschool educational institution, Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported.
The strike caused a fire in the building, and emergency services were dispatched to the scene.
Wider wave of strikes on Kyiv
Klitschko's report came amid a broader series of Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital throughout September 25. By evening, those attacks had already killed seven people in Kyiv and injured another 59.
Earlier the same evening, a Russian drone also hit Ivankiv Lyceum No. 2 in the Vyshhorod district of Kyiv region, causing a fire to break out in that building as well.
No official information on possible casualties at the preschool building has been reported so far.
