Russian drone strike on Sloviansk kills one, injures two – local official
A Russian drone attack on Sloviansk, Donetsk region, overnight on 25 July killed one person and wounded two. The city administration urges residents to evacuate.
Russian forces attacked the city of Sloviansk in Donetsk Oblast with a Geran-2 drone on the night of 24-25 July, striking a residential building. One person was killed and two others were injured, according to Vadym Liakh, Head of the Sloviansk City Military Administration.
Liakh reported that over the past 24 hours, six people were killed and 27 injured across the Sloviansk hromada (administrative unit). In the past week, the death toll reached nine, with 45 wounded. He emphasized that the tragic statistics show residents should leave the city while it is still possible.
Earlier on 24 July, a Russian strike on Sloviansk killed five and injured nine. Later the same day, another attack using guided aerial bombs wounded 16 people in residential areas.
