Russian Drone Strike Kills Three Horses at Sumy Equestrian School

Russian forces attacked the Sumy Equestrian Sports School with a Geran-2 drone on the night of June 17. The strike hit the stable area, killing three horses and causing a fire that was later contained. No staff members were injured, according to local authorities.

Oleksiy Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional administration, stated that the attack deliberately targeted a civilian facility where children attended daily. Artem Kobzar, acting mayor of Sumy, confirmed that three horses died and the stable building was damaged. The attack occurred after midnight, as reported by local outlet "Kordon.Media."

This incident highlights ongoing Russian strikes on civilian infrastructure in Ukraine, including locations frequented by children.
