Russian drones strike Kherson twice in one morning, killing one and injuring another
Russian drones attacked Kherson twice on the morning of September 14, killing one person and wounding another. The strikes follow a similar attack the previous day that hit an ambulance in the city.
Russian forces carried out two drone strikes on the Ukrainian city of Kherson on the morning of September 14, according to Yaroslav Shanko, head of the Kherson regional military administration.
At around 8:30 a.m., a drone struck a passenger car in the city's Dniprovskyi district. A man was fatally injured in the attack; authorities are still working to identify him.
Approximately two hours later, around 10:10 a.m., a drone hit the central part of the city. A 62-year-old man sustained a mine-blast injury and shrapnel wounds to his left leg.
Recent pattern of attacks
The strikes follow an incident on September 13, when a Russian drone hit an ambulance in Kherson's Korabelnyi district, injuring two medical workers.
Kherson, located near the front line, has repeatedly come under fire from Russian drones and artillery, with civilians frequently among the casualties.
