Russian drone strikes kill four in Kharkiv Oblast village
Overnight on 20-21 August, Russian drones struck the village of Lebiazhe in Kharkiv Oblast, killing four people, injuring two others, and setting homes ablaze.

Russian unmanned aerial vehicles attacked the village of Lebiazhe in the Chuhuiv district of Kharkiv Oblast overnight between 20 and 21 August, according to Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv Oblast Military Administration, who reported the strike on social media.
Syniehubov said the attack involved six drones. Initial reports indicated two women, aged 73 and 66, had been killed. During subsequent rescue operations and the clearing of rubble, two more bodies were recovered, bringing the confirmed death toll to four.
Two other women, aged 41 and 73, were injured in the strike. Medics have provided them with all necessary treatment.
Damage to the village
Five houses caught fire as a result of the drone strikes. Three houses were completely destroyed, while roughly 20 additional houses and three outbuildings sustained damage. Emergency services in the village are operating in an enhanced mode.
According to Syniehubov, State Emergency Service units continue rescue and recovery operations at the strike sites, while law enforcement officers are documenting what he described as another war crime committed by the occupying forces. Emergency medical teams remain on standby at the sites.
The regional administration head stressed the ongoing need to ensure that everyone affected receives the assistance they require.
