Woman killed in Russian drone strike on Lozova in Kharkiv region
Overnight on September 21, Russian forces attacked the city of Lozova in Kharkiv region with five drones, killing a woman and injuring three other people. Residential buildings, administrative structures and railway infrastructure were damaged.
Russian occupying forces struck the city of Lozova in Ukraine's Kharkiv region overnight on September 21, using five unmanned aerial vehicles, the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office reported.
According to investigators, Russian military forces attacked the city with five drones, reportedly of the "Geran" type. A woman was killed in the strike. Two other women suffered acute stress reactions, while a 62-year-old man was injured.
The attack damaged residential and administrative buildings as well as railway infrastructure.
Investigation launched
The Lozova district prosecutor's office in Kharkiv region has opened a pre-trial investigation into a war crime that resulted in a death, under Part 2 of Article 438 of Ukraine's Criminal Code.
This follows earlier Russian attacks on September 18 in the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions, which killed eight people and injured 33 others.
