Woman killed as Russian drones strike near apartment block in Sumy
Two Russian drones struck near a residential apartment building in the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday evening, killing a woman and injuring her husband. The building and several cars were damaged.

A woman was killed and her husband injured on Sunday evening when Russian drones struck close to a multi-story residential building in the Ukrainian city of Sumy, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration.
Hryhorov said two enemy drones hit the area near the apartment block. The woman died as a result of the strike, while her 41-year-old husband sustained multiple shrapnel wounds. He was taken to hospital, where medics are providing the necessary care.
Damage to the building and vehicles
According to the regional administration, the strike damaged the residential building itself along with five cars parked nearby.
