Man killed, four injured in separate Russian strikes on Kharkiv Oblast
A Russian FPV drone strike on a car killed the driver in Kharkiv Oblast, while a separate rocket strike on a village injured four people, including two children.
Russian forces carried out two attacks in Kharkiv Oblast on 26 September, killing one person and injuring several others, according to the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office, regional military administration head Oleh Syniehubov, and local police.
Driver killed in drone strike
Around 12:00, Russian forces struck a civilian car with an FPV drone on a road near the turn-off to the village of Pytomnyk in the Kharkiv district. The 50-year-old driver died at the scene. A 73-year-old woman who was also in the vehicle was not injured.
Four hurt, including two children, in rocket attack
A separate strike on the village of Lebiazhe in the Chuhuiv district injured four people: a 56-year-old man, a 33-year-old woman, and two boys aged five and 12. Medics diagnosed all four with shock. The attack reportedly involved a multiple-launch rocket system and partially destroyed a two-storey apartment building.
The blast also damaged roughly 15 cars parked nearby, along with shattered windows and damaged doors in surrounding buildings.
