Russian drone strikes hit two civilian buses in Kherson, injuring drivers
Russian forces carried out two separate drone strikes on passenger buses in Kherson's Korabelnyi district on the morning of 17 August, injuring both vehicles' drivers.

Russian forces launched two separate drone attacks on civilian passenger vehicles in the Korabelnyi district of Kherson on the morning of 17 August, according to the Kherson Oblast Military Administration.
First strike
At around 05:30, a drone struck a minibus. The 63-year-old driver suffered a concussion along with blast-related and closed craniocerebral injuries. An ambulance crew treated him at the scene.
Second strike
Approximately an hour later, at around 06:30, Russian forces struck a shuttle bus in the same district. The 62-year-old driver sustained a concussion, blast-related and closed craniocerebral injuries, and a shrapnel wound to the chest. He remains under medical supervision.
The two attacks add to a pattern of Russian drone strikes on civilian transport and infrastructure in Kherson, a city located close to the front line.
