Russian drone attack on petrol station in Sumy injures three women
A Russian drone struck a petrol station in Sumy on July 4, causing a fire and injuring three women. Staff had been warned and evacuated safely.

Russian forces attacked a petrol station in Sumy with a drone on 4 July, sparking a fire and injuring three women, according to Oleh Hryhorov, Head of Sumy Oblast Military Administration. The three injured women were hospitalised and are receiving necessary treatment.
The petrol station staff were warned about the threat in time. They alerted visitors and left the area, resulting in no injuries among employees.
This attack follows a series of Russian strikes on fuel infrastructure. On the night of 2-3 July, petrol stations in Sumy Oblast were hit four times, and on 2 July, a station was attacked in Chernihiv Oblast. On 3 July, four petrol stations in Poltava Oblast were attacked, leaving six people injured.
In response to the security situation, Ukrainian petrol station chain WOG announced it would introduce special operating procedures at its stations in Sumy, Chernihiv, Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Dnipropetrovsk, and Kherson oblasts, as well as at some stations in Poltava Oblast.
