Russian drone strike near apartment building in Sumy kills woman, injures man
Two Russian drones struck near a residential apartment building in Sumy on Sunday evening, killing a woman and injuring her husband. The building and several cars were also damaged.

Two Russian drones struck near a multi-story apartment building in the Ukrainian city of Sumy on Sunday evening, according to Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
A woman was killed in the attack, while her 41-year-old husband suffered multiple shrapnel wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where medics are providing necessary treatment.
Damage to building and vehicles
The drone strikes damaged the residential building along with five cars parked nearby. Hryhorov noted that the drones hit close to the apartment block, which is home to civilian residents.
The information was released in official statements from the regional administration on Sunday evening. Sumy region, located near the border with Russia, regularly comes under attack from Russian drones and missiles.
