The main parade of the Russian Navy, planned for Navy Day in St. Petersburg, did not take place yesterday.

According to our correspondent Valentin Ponomarevsky, the constant drone attacks by Ukrainian forces have left Russian authorities with no choice but to cancel key propaganda events of national scale. This cancellation comes in the 330th anniversary year of the founding of the Russian fleet.

The incident highlights how the war in Ukraine continues to disrupt Russia's ability to hold large-scale public celebrations, even those with important symbolic value.
