Oil depot on fire in Russia's Krasnodar Krai after drone attack

A drone attack caused a fire at an oil depot in Russia's Krasnodar Krai, leading to temporary closure of a highway and activation of firefighting teams.

The operational headquarters of Russia's Krasnodar Krai reported that fragments from falling UAVs sparked a fire at an oil depot in the stanitsa of Poltavskaya, Krasnoarmeysky District. A total of 32 personnel and 7 units of equipment were deployed to extinguish the blaze.

Following the drone strike, the highway between Poltavskaya and the khutor of Trudobelikovsky was temporarily closed.

Earlier in June, Ukrainian defense forces struck several military, logistics, and industrial facilities in Russia. On June 10-11, the Afipsky oil refinery in Krasnodar Krai was hit. On June 13, soldiers of the SBU Alpha special operations center, together with the Special Operations Forces and the Main Intelligence Directorate, successfully targeted the Tamanneftegaz oil and gas terminal in the same region.
