Russian overnight attacks kill eight in Ukraine, including children

Russia launched a massive overnight attack on Ukraine using ballistic missiles and drones, resulting in eight deaths, including two children, and numerous injuries across multiple regions.

In the Dnipropetrovsk region, specifically in the village of Radushne in the Kryvyi Rih district, an Iskander-M ballistic missile struck a private home, killing six people, among them two children, and wounding eight others, including two children.

In Kyiv, one person was killed and two injured as fires broke out at a market and a garage cooperative following a missile strike.

In the Poltava region, drone attacks hit an industrial warehouse, killing one person. Another drone struck a terminal of the postal delivery company Nova Poshta, causing a fire.

In Lviv, drones damaged residential buildings, leaving six people injured.

Earlier in the evening, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky warned of an impending massive attack, citing a report from the Air Force Commander. He stated that Russia had been preparing the attack for several days and that there was a high probability it would occur that night. Zelensky called on partners to fully understand the situation and take appropriate action.

Overall, the attack killed eight people and injured at least 16, according to preliminary reports. The strikes targeted both residential areas and civilian infrastructure.
