Russian forces launched a missile strike on the ArcelorMittal steel plant in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, killing two workers employed by contractor organisations operating at the site.

Two additional employees were injured in the attack, according to available information.

The ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih plant is one of Ukraine's largest metallurgical enterprises and has come under repeated Russian attacks since the start of the full-scale invasion. Kryvyi Rih, the hometown of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, has frequently been targeted by Russian missile and drone strikes.
