Six members of one family killed in Russian missile strike near Kryvyi Rih
A Russian missile strike on the village of Radushne near Kryvyi Rih killed six people – a father, mother, and four children from the Voronov family. Rescuers are still searching for three more people.
A Russian missile strike on July 30 killed multiple members of the Voronov family in the village of Radushne, Dnipropetrovsk region, located several kilometers southeast of Kryvyi Rih. According to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defense Council, an Iskander-M ballistic missile directly hit a private home, killing six people and wounding eight.
The house belonged to the Voronov family. Rescuers recovered the bodies of Artem and Olena Voronov and four of their children from the rubble. Local outlets Svoi and Pershyi Miskyi report that Artem was 47 and Olena was 41. Seven of their ten children were in the house: 17-year-old Mark, who was studying to become a railway worker in Kryvyi Rih, and six school-age children – 15-year-old Dominika, 14-year-old Viorika, 12-year-old Zakharii, 11-year-old Azarii Ilai, 10-year-old Federika, and six-year-old Emilia. It remains unclear which of them are among the dead. Also in the house was their 1.5-year-old grandson, Artem, the son of the Voronovs’ eldest son, who serves in the army. The couple’s eldest daughter and another son are currently abroad.
Another woman injured in the strike remains in serious condition in the hospital. A family who lived next door – a woman and her two children rescued from the rubble – has also been hospitalized. The rescue operation is ongoing.
