Russian missile strike on Kyiv region kills 10, injures over 100
Russia launched about ten Zircon hypersonic anti-ship missiles at a private training ground in the Bucha district of Kyiv region, where a Ukrainian defense industry exhibition was underway. At least 10 people died, about 100 were wounded.
On July 24, Russian forces struck the Kyiv region with approximately ten Zircon hypersonic anti-ship missiles. The attack targeted a private military range in the Bucha district, which at the time hosted an exhibition of weapons manufactured by Ukraine's defense industry.
The strike resulted in at least 10 fatalities and around 100 injuries. Rescue operations are ongoing. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy initially reported six deaths on social media, but later updates from authorities raised the death toll to at least ten. He expressed condolences to the victims' families.
