Russian missile strike on Kryvyi Rih injures two, damages enterprise
Russia struck the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih with missiles overnight into August 27, injuring two people and damaging an industrial enterprise. Earlier the same night, Russian forces also hit Zaporizhzhia, wounding three people.
Russian forces launched a missile strike on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih, injuring two people, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city's Defence Council, who reported the attack on social media.
According to Vilkul, the strike targeted an industrial enterprise in the city. Both injured people are said to be in a non-severe condition. He had earlier reported that two ballistic missiles were fired at Kryvyi Rih and warned that further launches could follow.
Zaporizhzhia also hit
The strike on Kryvyi Rih followed another Russian attack the same night — into August 27, Russian forces also struck the city of Zaporizhzhia, where three people were injured.
Officials have not yet provided further details on the overall damage or the response to the attacks.
