Russian missiles hit Kyiv municipal medical transport facility, ambulances destroyed
Two Russian missiles struck the premises of the municipal organisation Kyivmedspetstrans during an overnight attack on Kyiv on 31 July–1 August, partially destroying four buildings and damaging vehicles. No casualties were reported.
During Russia's attack on the night of 31 July–1 August, two missile strikes were recorded on the premises of the municipal organisation Kyivmedspetstrans in Kyiv. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko reported that four buildings of the company were partially destroyed, while other facilities sustained damage.
A fire broke out at the site, completely destroying five ambulances. In addition, 20 other vehicles suffered significant damage. There were no casualties, according to the mayor.
Emergency services are continuing to deal with the aftermath of the attack on the site. Klitschko also said that damage was recorded in five districts of the capital, showing that the impact was not limited to the facility itself.
The strikes were part of a Russian ballistic missile attack on the capital. As previously reported, the overnight missile strikes killed nine people and injured more than 30. The attack on Kyivmedspetstrans is part of this wider assault, and the full extent of the consequences is still being assessed.
