Russians hit Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs: one killed, 13 injured

Russian forces attacked Zaporizhzhia on 5 July with two aerial bombs, killing one person and injuring 13, including a teenager and an elderly woman.

On 5 July, Russian troops launched an attack on Zaporizhzhia using two aerial bombs. The strike resulted in one fatality and 13 injuries, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration. The number of injured initially stood at nine but later rose to 13, among them a 14-year-old boy and an 89-year-old woman. The bombs destroyed several houses and damaged 35 apartments in a residential block, sparking a fire. Authorities confirmed that all those injured in the attack are receiving medical assistance.
