Russian Forces Carry Out Nearly 900 Strikes on Zaporizhzhia Region, Injuring 19
Russian troops launched 887 attacks on 47 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the past day, wounding 19 people, according to local authorities.
Over the past 24 hours, Russian forces conducted 887 strikes on 47 different settlements across Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia Oblast, leaving 19 civilians injured, said Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional military administration, in a Telegram post.
The attacks included 24 aerial bombs, 642 drones—mostly FPV types—five salvos from multiple-launch rocket systems, and 216 artillery shellings. The strikes targeted numerous villages and towns, such as Novomykolaivka, Bilenke, Tavriiske, as well as the city of Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, and Huliaipole.
According to Fedorov, authorities received 71 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities across the affected areas.
