Consequences of the attack
Karabanov reported that the fire targeted private residential areas. Unfortunately, as a result of this cynical attack, one person was killed, and another person suffered an acute stress reaction. Rescue workers, medics, and other relevant services promptly began working at the impact site.
Previous shelling
Russian occupiers regularly shell the Balakliia community, using various types of weapons. In particular, on June 23, nine people were injured, and damage was done to cars, a post office building, a hotel, a cafe, an educational institution, a multi-story building, and a sports facility.
