Cafe catches fire in Kyiv after Russian strike
A Russian strike triggered fires in Kyiv's Solomianskyi and Obolonskyi districts, damaging a cafe and a warehouse. No casualties have been reported so far.
A Russian strike on Kyiv overnight sparked fires in multiple districts of the Ukrainian capital.
The strike's effects were felt in both the Solomianskyi and Obolonskyi districts, located on different sides of the city. Fires broke out in both areas as a result of the attack.
Damaged sites
In the Solomianskyi district, a cafe was damaged by fire, while in the Obolonskyi district a warehouse building was hit. Firefighters were dispatched to extinguish the flames at both locations.
No reports of casualties or injuries from the strikes have emerged so far. Kyiv city authorities and emergency services continue to assess the aftermath of the attack.
Russia regularly carries out missile and drone strikes on Ukrainian cities, including Kyiv, as part of its broader campaign against Ukraine's infrastructure and civilian sites.
