Number of people injured in Russian strike on Odesa rises to six
Updated figures show six people were injured in Russia's September 28 strike on Odesa, with two still hospitalized. Cleanup and repair work continues in the city.
Serhiy Lysak, head of the Odesa Regional Military Administration, has reported that the number of people injured in Russia's September 28 strike on Odesa has risen to six, with two of them still in hospital.
According to Lysak, the strike targeted infrastructure overnight and into the morning. A fire broke out but was quickly extinguished.
Cleanup continues
City services are still working to eliminate the consequences of the September 28 strike. Work is ongoing in the damaged apartment building. The blast wave shattered windows in neighboring buildings and in one educational institution. Specialists are sealing the broken window and door openings.
Earlier on September 28, reports indicated that three adults and a child were injured when the Russian strike hit a residential apartment building in Odesa. That figure was later updated to a total of six injured.
