At least 13 killed as Russian strikes hit Kyiv, Pryluky and Kremenchuk
Russian missiles and drones struck several Ukrainian cities overnight on Tuesday, including Kyiv, Pryluky and Kremenchuk. An apartment block was destroyed in Pryluky, where at least nine people died, three of them children.

Russian missile and drone attacks overnight on Tuesday hit a number of Ukrainian cities, among them the capital Kyiv, as well as Pryluky and Kremenchuk.
Kyiv and Pryluky
Two people were killed in the attack on Kyiv. In the northern Chernihiv region, a strike destroyed an apartment block in Pryluky. The regional prosecutor's office said at least nine people died there, including three children. Rescue workers pulled a boy alive from the rubble.
Kremenchuk
In the central Ukrainian city of Kremenchuk, the attack killed two people and injured 34 others. Two of the injured are children. Regional authorities reported the figures on Wednesday.
Kyiv's assessment
Ukraine says Russia bombed the apartment block as a birthday gift for Putin.
Based on the figures given, at least 13 people were killed across the three cities, and the number of injured is significant.
