Rise in assault attempts

A staff sergeant in the Ukrainian armed forces has reported a notable increase in the number of Russian assault groups attempting to break through Ukrainian defensive lines toward the city of Dobropillia. According to the soldier, despite the growing frequency of these attempts, Russian forces continue to rely on tactics that have already been observed before, rather than developing new approaches to the fight for the city.

Main routes already mined

To slow the advance of Russian troops, the Ukrainian military had already mined the main routes that Russian forces could use to reach Dobropillia. This measure is intended to delay or halt the movement of assault groups before they reach the immediate vicinity of the city, giving Ukrainian defenders additional time to respond to new attempts to break through.

The report indicates that Dobropillia remains one of the more active sections of the front, where Russian forces continue searching for ways to penetrate Ukrainian defenses, while Ukrainian troops rely on engineering measures, including minefields, to make the enemy's advance more difficult.
