A warehouse belonging to the foundation of Ukrainian President's wife Olena Zelenska was completely destroyed in Kyiv on the morning of September 16 as a result of a Russian attack, the foundation announced on Facebook.

According to the statement, the warehouse burned down entirely, but no people were harmed. The foundation thanked Ukraine's State Emergency Service crews for their prompt and professional response in extinguishing the fire.

What was lost

The warehouse held humanitarian aid that the foundation had purchased or received from partners for distribution to children, families and institutions in various regions of Ukraine according to their needs. Foundation representatives said the destroyed items included generators, household appliances, laptops, tablets, e-readers and medical equipment.

All of this aid had specific purposes: supporting children's education, the work of schools and hospitals, and helping families in different regions of the country.

The same night, Russian jet-powered drones also struck warehouse premises in Kyiv that held props belonging to the "Kvartal 95" television studio.
