Russian attack on Vyshneve claims nine lives; aftermath response continues
Nine people have died in the Russian strike on Vyshneve, with 18 hospitalized. Residential damage covers 13 hectares, and nearly 500 residents were evacuated.

The death toll from the Russian attack on Vyshneve in Kyiv region has risen to nine after a man with severe injuries died in hospital, according to regional military administration head Mykola Kalashnyk.
As of the evening of July 7, 18 injured remain in medical facilities receiving necessary care. Overall, 58 people were wounded in the attack.
The strike occurred on the night of July 6, when Russia launched a massive combined attack using drones and various missiles. Of 419 launched targets, air defense neutralized 363. However, 29 ballistic missiles and 18 attack drones hit 34 locations.
Vyshneve suffered extensive residential damage. Acting Prime Minister Yuliia Svyrydenko called it the largest destruction of housing since the full-scale invasion began, affecting 13 hectares. Due to the threat of repeated detonation, nearly 500 residents were evacuated.
President Volodymyr Zelensky has demanded a detailed investigation by the Security Service and intelligence services. Cleanup and recovery operations are ongoing in Vyshneve.
