Two killed, nine injured in Russian attacks on Dnipropetrovsk region

On September 8, Russian forces struck four districts of Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region nearly 50 times using drones, artillery and an aerial bomb, killing two people and injuring nine others.

Oleksandr Ganzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk regional military administration, reported that on September 8 Russian forces carried out almost 50 attacks on four districts of the region using drones, artillery and an aerial bomb. The regional prosecutor's office also confirmed the incident.

Two people were killed and nine were injured in the attacks.

Nikopol district hit hardest

The heaviest strikes hit the communities of Nikopol, Marhanets, Pokrovsk and Myrove in the Nikopol district. Private houses were damaged, and two men lost their lives. Six other people were injured, including a 33-year-old man who was hospitalized in moderate condition; the remaining injured are being treated on an outpatient basis.

Casualties reported elsewhere too

In the Kryvyi Rih district, a 54-year-old woman was injured. In the Synelnykove district, Russian forces struck the Petropavlivka and Zaitseve communities, setting a business and a private home on fire; a 67-year-old woman was injured there.

Separately, a fire broke out in the city of Dnipro, injuring a 31-year-old woman who will be treated at home.
