Two dead, several injured in Russian attacks in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia region
Russian forces on June 23 launched attacks in Kherson and Zaporizhzhia region, killing two people and injuring two others.

On June 23, Russian troops continued their assaults on Ukrainian regions, targeting Zaporizhzhia region and Kherson. Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, reported that the enemy dropped three guided aerial bombs on the settlement of Maryivka. The attack resulted in the death of one woman and injuries to two others. A local shop and residential buildings were damaged. In the evening, Russian forces shelled the Korabelny district of the city of Kherson. There, a 47-year-old man sustained injuries incompatible with life and died at the scene. The information was confirmed by Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson Regional Administration. In total, two people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries in these two separate incidents on the same day.
