Two killed, several wounded in Russian attacks on Kherson and Zaporizhzhia regions
Russian forces killed a woman in Zaporizhzhia region and a man in Kherson on June 23, with two others wounded.

Russian troops carried out attacks on southern Ukraine on June 23, resulting in two deaths and two injuries. Zaporizhzhia regional governor Ivan Fedorov reported that the enemy dropped three guided aerial bombs on the village of Marivka. The strike killed one woman and wounded two women. A local shop and residential buildings were also damaged.
Separately, Kherson regional head Oleksandr Prokudin said that in the evening, Russian forces shelled the Korabelny district of Kherson. A 47-year-old man sustained injuries incompatible with life and died on the spot. The identity of the deceased has not been officially disclosed.
Both attacks occurred within a single day, underscoring the ongoing Russian military aggression against Ukrainian civilians and infrastructure. Local authorities are assessing the extent of damage and providing assistance to the victims.
