Seven injured, including child, in Russian attacks on Sumy region
Seven people, including a 4-year-old child, were injured in multiple Russian attacks on the Sumy region of Ukraine on July 17.

Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy regional military administration, reported on social media that seven people were injured in Russian attacks on the Sumy district throughout the day, among them a 4-year-old child.
In the Stetskivka starosta district, three people were injured by a multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) strike. One man was hospitalized, while another man and a woman are receiving outpatient treatment.
In the center of Sumy, a civilian man was wounded by a Russian drone strike. He was taken to hospital where he is receiving necessary care.
In the evening, a guided bomb attack targeted a private sector on the outskirts of Sumy. Two people sought medical help: a woman with acute stress reaction and a man with injuries. Both received necessary assistance.
On a highway in the Sumy district, an enemy drone struck near a car. The 4-year-old child experienced an acute stress reaction. There is no threat to the child's life, Hryhorov added.
