Russian forces conducted strikes in Ukraine's Sumy region, killing one person and injuring seven, according to the National Police. The police stated they are documenting war crimes by the Russian army. In Seredyna-Buda, a man was killed in a mortar attack.
Overnight into Thursday, Russian troops almost continuously attacked Odesa, damaging infrastructure, office buildings, cars, and private homes. Serhiy Lisak, head of the regional administration, reported no casualties.
Overall, Russia attacked Ukraine with six missiles and 168 drones overnight. Ukraine's Air Force said air defenses shot down 156 aerial targets, but hits were recorded in nine locations. An Iskander-M ballistic missile and five Kh-59/69 guided air-launched missiles were fired from occupied Crimea. Shahed and other drones were launched from several Russian border regions, as well as occupied parts of Donetsk region and Crimea. Two Kh-59/69 missiles and 154 drones were shot down. Hits were recorded in nine places, including from one ballistic missile, three guided air missiles, and seven drones, with debris falling in four locations.
