Toll climbs in Kryvyi Rih

The death toll from a Russian attack on the Ukrainian city of Kryvyi Rih has risen to 16. Additional civilian casualties have been reported elsewhere in Ukraine, including in Kyiv, Kherson, the Sumy region and the Zaporizhzhia region, where Russian strikes have killed and injured local residents.

Ozon hub hit in Russia

Ukraine continues to strike back at targets inside Russia. For the first time, Ukrainian drones hit a logistics hub belonging to the major online retailer Ozon on Russian territory, causing damage to the facility. Such a strike on the company had not previously occurred.

Eiffel Tower to honor Ukraine

In a symbolic gesture marking Ukraine's Independence Day, the Eiffel Tower in Paris will be lit up in blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag, as a sign of solidarity with Ukraine amid Russia's ongoing invasion.

The war, now in its fourth year, continues to claim civilian lives across Ukraine through regular Russian strikes, while Ukraine keeps carrying out attacks on targets within Russian territory in response.
