Russian missile strike on Kyiv causes fires and debris falls across the city

Russian forces attacked Kyiv with missiles overnight on July 29-30, triggering fires and debris falls in multiple locations across the capital.

Russian troops launched a missile strike on Ukraine's capital, Kyiv, during the night of July 29-30. The attack led to falling debris and fires in several parts of the city, according to Ukraine's Air Force, the Kyiv City Military Administration, and Mayor Vitali Klitschko.

Klitschko reported that in the Sviatoshynskyi district, falling debris ignited a fire on the premises of a non-residential building. A fire also broke out at a non-residential property in the Obolonskyi district. Additionally, a garage cooperative caught fire in Sviatoshynskyi.

Earlier, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned that missiles were heading toward Kyiv, Dnipro, and Kryvyi Rih. No detailed information on casualties or the full extent of damage has been released yet.
