On July 10, Russian troops carried out a missile strike on port infrastructure in Odesa Oblast, using cruise missiles. The attack damaged production facilities and equipment belonging to port operators, and a fire broke out at one of the terminals, which firefighters have since contained.

According to Oleh Kiper, Head of the Odesa Oblast Military Administration, one person was killed in the attack. Ukraine's Deputy Prime Minister for Recovery, Oleksii Kuleba, identified the victim as a stevedore-mechanic. Emergency services continue to deal with the aftermath.

Kiper stated that the enemy once again attacked Odesa Oblast with cruise missiles, targeting port facilities. Fires erupted at the site and were extinguished by firefighters. The strike is part of a series of Russian attacks on Ukraine's port infrastructure, disrupting grain exports and other logistics.
