A charity warehouse in Kyiv was completely destroyed in a Russian attack, with computers funded by Latvian donors and delivered through Ziedot.lv among the burned items.
A warehouse belonging to a charity foundation established by First Lady Olena Zelenska was completely destroyed during a recent Russian air attack on Kyiv. The fire consumed generators, household appliances and medical equipment that had been intended for helping people affected by the war.
Among the charred remains, computers meant for Ukrainian schoolchildren could be identified. These devices had been purchased with funds raised by Latvian donors and delivered to Ukraine through the Latvian charity organization Ziedot.lv.
The incident underscores that Russian strikes on Kyiv affect not only military targets but also humanitarian aid infrastructure, including supplies intended for the most vulnerable residents, such as children and schoolchildren.
