Russian drone strike on Lozova kills woman, injures three others
Overnight on September 21, Russian drones struck the city of Lozova in Ukraine's Kharkiv region, killing a woman and injuring three other people. A war crimes investigation has been opened.
Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian city of Lozova in the Kharkiv region overnight on September 21 using five drones, reportedly of the "Geran" type, according to the Kharkiv regional prosecutor's office.
The strike killed a woman. Two other women suffered acute stress reactions, and a 62-year-old man was injured.
Residential and administrative buildings were damaged, along with railway infrastructure.
The Lozova district prosecutor's office in the Kharkiv region has opened a pre-trial investigation into a war crime that resulted in a person's death, under Part 2, Article 438 of Ukraine's Criminal Code.
Previous attacks
As previously reported, Russian attacks on September 18 killed eight people and injured 33 others in the Kharkiv, Donetsk and Kherson regions.
