Russian authorities claim drone attack on Moscow with 16 UAVs

Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin announced on Thursday, July 4, an attack of 16 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) that he said were heading toward Moscow. In a manner typical of Russian authorities, Sobyanin claimed the drones were shot down, without providing any details on damage or casualties.
He stated that emergency service specialists are working at the debris fall sites. Earlier that evening, starting at 22:45 Kyiv time, Sobyanin reported 7 more allegedly downed drones. After 3 a.m., he added that three more UAVs heading for Moscow had been shot down.
