Kristaps Porziņģis's father Tālis welcomes a child in his new family
Tālis Porziņģis, father of Latvian basketball star Kristaps Porziņģis, became a father again in August to a baby born to his partner Zane, magazine "Kas Jauns" reports, with the family news coinciding with his move to a new property in Liepāja.

Latvian magazine "Kas Jauns" reports that Tālis Porziņģis, father of basketball star Kristaps Porziņģis, has welcomed a new child. The baby was born in August to Tālis's partner, Zane.
New property in Liepāja
According to the magazine, Tālis recently purchased a property in Liepāja worth 400,000 euros, described as one of the region's largest real estate deals this year. Local residents say Tālis decided to move from the Porziņģis family estate in Jūrmalciems, near Liepāja, into the city because of his changed family circumstances. Although he, like other members of the Porziņģis family, has his own house in Jūrmalciems — an area locals have nicknamed "Porziņģciems" — he chose to settle in the city instead.
Relationship became public this spring
The wider public learned of Tālis and Zane's relationship in April, when Kristaps Porziņģis attended an MLB baseball game in San Francisco with family members. A social media account linked to "NBC Sports" shared footage showing Kristaps watching the game alongside his girlfriend, model Sukeja Hall, as well as his father Tālis with his new partner and their child.
At the time, Tālis confirmed to "Kas Jauns" that he had officially divorced his wife Ingrīda about a year earlier, noting that his family and close circle were already aware. He expressed gratitude that he and his ex-wife had managed to remain on friendly terms. This spring it became known that the couple was expecting a child, and the newborn has now been in the family's care for about a month and a half.
